Giving Back

Adventure Travel Treks, Climbs, and Overland Adventures with a component of philanthropy

Client, Mark Pincus finishing up a morning of volunteer work at a school in the Village of Nar, Nar-Phu Valley, Nepal.

Giving back only makes the adventure better.

Besides practicing clean environmental practices and trying, where possible, to support local village economies by employing local village porters and buying local food (when local food is in abundance), every one of our trips incorporates some form of optional opportunities for volunteering.

Often this is education related. A lack of basic school supplies pervades much of the 3rd world. We've found that the incremental labor to haul shipments of basic school supplies along with our expedition supplies is nominal. We usually spend part of one acclimatization day donating supplies to a local school and working with the students in some sort of meaningful way. The activities are completely optional, but our clients most memorable experiences from trips tend to center around these school interactions.

We'd love you to join us in volunteering (or not) as you feel comfortable on our next trip.
